Beautiful North Captiva Island - also
called Upper Captiva Island - is one of Florida's best-kept vacation
secrets. Located in Southwest Florida, just north of Sanibel and
Captiva Islands, Upper Captiva Island is a secluded natural paradise.
Nearly four miles of Gulf beaches await you, without the hustle
and bustle of many other vacation destinations.
This is natural Florida, a special getaway without cars, traffic,
or crowds. No cars! Our island's sandy roads are traveled by bicycle
and golf cart, and North Captiva can only be reached by boat or
small plane.
Every home
and condo on the island is just minutes to our Gulf of Mexico
beaches or the beautiful bay. We are just off the coast of Lee County,
near Pine Island, Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Bonita Springs, and Naples. Click Here to see the map to the Island.

Fishing and Boating
We are a short boat trip from our famous
sister islands, Sanibel and Captiva. We have the same white sand
beaches - but not the crowds.
Upper Captiva Island has long been a sport
fishing destination. Tarpon, snook, redfish, snapper and spotted
sea trout are plentiful in Pine Island Sound and the island passes.
Just offshore are larger snapper, grouper, cobia and many other
salt water fish. We have great local fishing guides ready to assist
you with a memorable vacation!
Our beaches are known for the best shelling
in North America. Lightning whelks, horse and fighting conchs, olive
and cone shells, murexes, augers, tulip shells, scallops... too many species to name.
North Captiva Island is a casual,
friendly environment and an unbeatable family vacation experience.
From the moment you step off your water taxi at our docks through
that final sunset, your holiday will be special.
Browse our
rental properties, and if you don't see what you're looking
for, just Email or call us. We've
been on the island for years, and have access to many other island
properties. We will find the right vacation home for you.
Come as you are, and you'll be welcome!
