Sea grapes and palms envelop this delightful one level island home overlooking North Captiva’s only freshwater lake. Located in the Safety Harbor Club, the house was built in 2003 and is beautifully furnished. Designed for casual living, the center of the house is a spacious great room with a living and dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. The room boasts vaulted ceilings, ceiling fans and a wall of glass opening to an expansive screened porch offering spectacular views of the lake. The master bedroom is furnished with a king bed and has a private bathroom. An additional bedroom and full bath complete the main living level.

Amenities include an enclosed outdoor shower, a golf cart, two bicycles, a Weber charcoal grill, and beach chairs. The house includes two televisions, two DVD players, a VCR, a CD player, high speed internet access, two telephones, a washer dryer and linens and towels.

House guests enjoy membership in Safety Harbor’s private club boasting a heated pool, tennis courts and a boating and fishing dock. Centrally located, Casa Caretta is steps from the club’s facilities, the beach and the bay. The island can be explored by golf cart, bicycle or on foot. Sandy trails lead to miles of pristine white beaches, to Pine Island Bay and to the state preserve covering more than two-thirds of the island.
